Comments on the Military and Business Ownership...
“My experience in the service developed my mental toughness to face any challenge. Starting my business shortly after completing my college education in geology on the GI bill in 1977, by 1988 I had built the company to nearly 100 employees. After the S&L debacle in 1991, we were whittled down to 7. My military conditioning helped me to work through one of the toughest economic downturns of my career. Today it is doing the same as we navigate the latest economic downturn.”
